Today, I gave my husband a envelope full of coupons and asked him if he could take care of these Target Deals for me. (He’s the one with the grill, right?)
I gave him a list, the coupon envelope and asked him to please stick to the items on the list. Well, he gave the list his own variation and got the things he liked instead. He purchased the very large bags of Kingsford Charcoal (not the ones on sale) and the Beef Angus Ball Park Franks (also not on sale).
All in all, he did a pretty good job saving about 50%. Here is his trip:

only time mine uses the coupons is when I’m with him. and he tosses the catalina coupons way… grrr!
coupons, what? My husband is the worst. He works at CVS and gets annoyed at couponers so he refuses to use them. I try not to let him shop because I always have coupons for what he buys. Totally doesn’t grasp that coupons save us tons of money! i keep telling him to not get annoyed with couponers, to learn from them, but he’s a lost cause!
My husband won’t bother using coupons either. It must be genetic…!

I’ve had to return items when my husband got “inspired”! You’d think that with a cell phone he could call and check first before he buys!
LOL great job, I send my husband with coupons-he usually calls me just to make sure-but he handles it pretty well. He knows I’ll be checking the receipt and checking it twice LOL
