Even though it doesn’t feel like it here in the Northeast, summer is almost here.  I am excited to share Dollar General‘s Summer Fun items. It is time to get planning for picnics, pool parties and enjoying the nice weather!

Of course, we already know about the everyday bargains we can find at Dollar General, you know the deals on toothpaste, deodorant and more! But, did you know that Dollar General carries all of you summer picnic supplies?

I headed out to Dollar General to prepare for our upcoming picnic. I was able to find these super cute flip flop plates and coordinating napkins. They also have sea shells and other summer themed plates. I was able to check these off my list for $4.00 total.

We didn’t need a new cooler, but found these Igloo coolers. The coolers started at $11 and are perfect for storing sodas or for a weekend camping trip. These prices are comparable to some sale prices I have seen recently.

Back to my picnic planning..So lets see there was charcoal, condiments and all picnic necessities, many at prices cheaper than most grocery stores. Don’t forget, Dollar General allows you to use coupons – so be sure to check out their coupon policy before you go!

There are also many grilling supplies available, you can even check Dollar General online!

In addition to all the grilling, don’t forget about pool toys. I have a rule about pool toys, I never spend a lot on them.  They usually don’t last more than a season!  Dollar General had some great options, including Minnie and DIsney Princess for your girly girls, starting at $2.00.

If you are going to the beach, you can pick up buckets, towels and chairs at Dollar General.
